Senior Accountant

1. to lead local accounting team
2. to keep setting the accounting software to meet statutory legislate requirements
3. to prepare mapping accounts for the company in compliance with statutory legislation: QAD-Statutory-HFM
4. to implement and maintain of document control system to meet statutory and tax requirements as well as corporate policies
5. to solve non-routine accounting and tax issues
6. to prepare and calculate data for Foreign VAT & Intrastat, Refunds VAT, Slovak EC Sales
7. to review of all statutory adjustments from US GAAP: type, amount, reason for adjustment
8. to be responsible for all tax reports and items (CIT, WTH, VAT) and communication with tax office
9. to approve all manual payments (customs duty, payroll, VAT, CIT provision, etc.)
10. to prepare all reports for Statistics office and National Bank Slovakia (including the related to property)
11. to prepare internal Visteon reports (Flux AR + Flux AP, FIN48, FAS5, Interim Period Critical Tax, Monthly Cash Activity, Cash Taxes actual and forecast, 20W Flux, etc..)
12. to coordinate and perform Month End closing activities and reconcile assigned accounts
13. to coordinate and perform Year End closing activities related to local requirements
14. to coordinate audit process with external and internal audit teams
15. to perform internal controls according to SOX requirements
16. to support Plant Controller activities as per her/him requests
