Sales & Technical Manager – Central Europe (Food Ingredients)

Faravelli is an international distributor of ingredients and chemicals with over 100 years of history, present in several strategic markets worldwide. Our Central European branch is a growing hub, with strong backing from the global Group.

We are currently looking for a Sales & Technical Manager to strengthen our presence in Slovakia and Hungary, ensuring continuity and development in this important region.

The role

As Sales & Technical Manager, you will:

  • Manage and develop the customer portfolio in Slovakia and Hungary, focusing on food ingredients and nutraceuticals.

  • Identify new business opportunities and support customers with both commercial and technical expertise.

  • Ensure continuity in the commercial strategy of the Central European branch, working closely with the Group’s international teams.

  • Build long-term partnerships by understanding customer needs and offering high-quality solutions.

  • Monitor local market trends, competitors, and regulations, sharing insights with colleagues to shape future strategies.

Your background

  • Proven B2B sales experience in food ingredients, nutraceuticals or chemical raw materials (3–6 years).

  • Technical knowledge of food science, chemistry, or related fields is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with local food/nutraceutical industry and supply chain dynamics.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.

  • Language skills: Fluent Slovak and Hungarian, with good command of English for international communication.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across Slovakia and Hungary.
